Every business minded show organizer knows for a fact that it is suicidal to their brand to collide with The Experience, be it Christian or circular event. This year’s edition, The Experience 14 tagged “Let’s Worship Jesus” slated for December 6, at Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan Lagos, promises to be much more exciting than the previous ones put together. Various top international artists are invited as usual, the likes of Don Moen, Todd Dulaney, Planet Shakers, Donnie Mcclurkin, Travis Greene, As a Nigerian gospel artist, an invitation and subsequent ministration at this event means a lot; as a matter of fact only a few notable Nigerian artists have been invited for performance. In this year’s edition; Chioma Jesus, Sammie Okposo, Tope Alabi, LMGC, Eben, Preye Odede, Sinach and Onos are all invitees to entertain the audience with sweet melodies.
The Experience normally features gospel arts performances and ministration but having the award winning poet Nokwethemba Mchunu invited, means that this edition is not going to be all about gospel artists. Primarily a gospel music concert, it is as well, a socio-economic cum cultural event and unrestricted attended by people from all layers of the society, from the highly placed to the common man.
Just like in every other religious event, expect high road traffic and hike in transport fares around areas in proximity, hotels would take advantage of the inflow of individuals who would lodge at their facilities to maximize profit. There would be of course unstable network services due to high network traffic. Security agencies are expected to lay more emphasis on security around the venue.
